Founder's Story

I was amazed at how much time and energy was required to build our custom home.  My wife and I spent over 400 hours in 12 months gathering information to design our house and make selections.

Making important decisions about something we'd never done before was very stressful. I was further amazed at how many of these decisions slipped between the cracks; important things like change orders on room dimensions and paint colors, and smaller things like sink and tile colors. I discovered it was equally daunting for builders to document all the buyers' decisions. I knew there had to be a better way, but an automated system was not available.

I worked with hundreds of builders, home buyers, vendors and subcontractors to create an internet based solution to meet everybody's needs. The result is SelectionWare. It helps builders automate the process into an organized system, including working with their home buyers & subcontractors. I built it in such a way that interaction between all parties is simple, logical, and thorough.
